The Summit is a program bringing together thought leaders globally to address the challenges of economic crime confronting Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), Policymakers, Law Enforcement, Technology Providers and Others Working with Cryptocurrencies and Distributed Ledger Technologies.
Carol Van Cleef is the chair of the 2022 Cryptocurrency and Blockchain AML Summit and will be speaking at multiple sessions including an Overview of the Current Landscape (Sept 5), The NFT Revolution (Sept 7), and A Whole New World (Sept 7). Dave Jevans will speak on the evolving DeFi landscape (Sept 6).

About TRISA
The Travel Rule Information Sharing Alliance (TRISA) is a professional working group of VASP operators, Travel Rule solution providers, regulators, advisors, and technical implementers dedicated to making cross-border exchanges of cryptocurrencies safe and lawful. TRISA consists of several components including:
- The TRISA Working Group, a 501(c)(6) professional organization
- A white paper that describes a protocol for an open source, interoperable, and decentralized messaging layer for Travel Rule compliance
- The Global Directory Service, a network of trusted VASPs with TRISA as the Trusted VASP Certificate Authority
- An open source Github repository with documentation to implement secure messaging between VASPs
